First Person Lightning Roulette — Bonus Features

Lucky Numbers, Lucky Payouts of 50x to 500x, and the 29:1 Straight Up base that pays for them. What each part of the Lightning layer actually does.

Not sure how it all works? The First Person Lightning Roulette how-to-play guide sets you up.

Lucky Numbers

How to Trigger

Drawn automatically in every game round, after betting closes.

What Happens

One to five randomly generated Lucky Numbers are struck by lightning and each is given a random prize multiplier of between 50x and 500x. The strike is shown on the wheel before the ball settles, so you know which numbers are charged for the round.

Multipliers

Between 50x and 500x. Evolution publishes the range, not the weighting of the values inside it.

Strategy

There is nothing to trigger and nothing to time — the draw is random and happens after your chips are down. The only decision that matters is whether you are on Straight Up bets at all, because nothing else can catch a multiplier.

Straight Up Betting

How to Trigger

Place a chip on a single number, 0 to 36.

What Happens

If the ball lands on your number and it was not a Lucky Number, the bet pays 29:1 — reduced from the 35:1 a single-zero table normally pays. If your number was struck, the bet is multiplied by its Lucky Payout instead, up to 500x.

Multipliers

29:1 base, or the Lucky Payout of 50x to 500x when the number was struck.

Strategy

Every Straight Up chip you place is a chip accepting 29:1 in exchange for a shot at 50x-500x. Covering more numbers raises the chance of catching a Lucky Number but does nothing to the odds of any single number landing.

Outside and Inside Bets

How to Trigger

Splits, streets, corners, lines, dozens, columns and the even-money bets.

What Happens

Every bet type other than Straight Up pays standard European-roulette odds: 17:1 on a split, 11:1 on a street, 8:1 on a corner, 5:1 on a line, 2:1 on dozens and columns, even money on red/black, odd/even and high/low. Lightning never touches them.

Multipliers

None. Standard odds only.

Strategy

This is the part of the layout where the published 97.30% applies in full, because nothing has been shaved off to fund anything. Mixing outside bets with a couple of Straight Up chips is how most players keep the session breathing.

Go Live Transition

How to Trigger

The GO LIVE button in the game interface.

What Happens

The First Person table is dealt by an RNG in a 3D studio. Pressing GO LIVE takes you through an in-game portal to the live-dealer Lightning Roulette table, where a human host spins a physical wheel under the same Lucky Number rules.

Multipliers

Identical — 1 to 5 Lucky Numbers, 50x to 500x.

Strategy

Use the RNG table to learn the rhythm at your own pace, then switch when you want the studio. The math does not change with the venue, so the choice is purely about how you like to play.

Where the Multipliers Come From

The funding is visible in the paytable rather than hidden. Non-multiplied Straight Up bets pay 29:1 instead of 35:1, and that reduction is exactly what pays for the Lucky Payouts. Bets that cannot catch a multiplier keep the full standard odds, which is why the published 97.30% applies to them untouched.

Every round, one to five randomly generated Lucky Numbers are struck by lightning and given a random multiplier of between 50x and 500x. Evolution publishes that range and nothing finer — how often each value appears, and how often five numbers are struck rather than one, is not disclosed.

Lucky Numbers reset every round. Nothing carries over, nothing accumulates, and the draw happens after betting closes.

1

Outside bets: standard European odds, no Lightning involvement at all.

2

Straight Up, number not struck: 29:1 instead of the standard 35:1.

3

Straight Up on a Lucky Number: the Lucky Payout replaces the base, from 50x up to 500x.

Covering more numbers raises the chance that one of your chips sits on a Lucky Number, but it does nothing to the odds of any individual number landing — that stays at one in 37 regardless of how much of the layout you own. And the wider you spread, the more of those chips are collecting the reduced 29:1 base on the rounds where lightning goes elsewhere. There is no coverage pattern that escapes that arithmetic, which is why the game rewards deciding in advance how much of your round belongs in the Lightning layer at all.

Bankroll

There is no bonus buy and nothing to unlock: Lucky Numbers are drawn whether you bet Straight Up or not. Size the session around the number of chips you put down per round, because covering five numbers is five bets, not one. A round that looks like a modest stake on the chip selector can be five times that by the time the wheel spins, and that is the figure your bankroll has to survive — not the chip value you picked.
